Willow Spring, N.C. — A two-vehicle along N.C. Highway 42 in southern Wake County injured four adults and two children on Sunday morning.
The two vehicles collided head-on in the 2400 block of N.C. 42, at Johnny Baker Road, shortly before 10 a.m., state Trooper H.C. Ellefson said.
All six people were taken to local hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities blocked the two-lane road for about 30 minutes and directed traffic through the intersection.
The names of the victims and cause of the wreck have not been released.
Effleson said the investigation into the wreck continued into Sunday evening.
