Raleigh, N.C. — State wildlife officials said Friday that more than 1,400 fish were found dead in Falls Lake.
Officials said they believe the fish died of natural causes.
On Thursday, officials said 100 catfish were found dead.
The fish, which weighed about 1½ pounds each, were found near the Sandling Beach area at the lake.
