Investigators searched the computer of a Wendell man charged with murder in his wife's death, looking for clues to how he might have planned the crime, according to warrants released Tuesday.

Jakiem Wilson admitted responsibility for the death of his wife, Nneka Wilson, 24, on May 27, but does not agree that it was first-degree murder.

Wilson's trial is scheduled to begin June 30.

Nneka Wilson was killed Feb. 12, 2007, inside her 6637 Eagles Crossing Drive home, authorities said.

An autopsy stated she died from multiple stab wounds to her jugular vein, lung and heart, and it noted she had defensive wounds on her forearms.

She had been dead for up to 16 hours before Jakiem Willson called 911, claiming he found her dead on the kitchen floor, along with the message, "Your (expletive) is dead. You're next," scrawled in her blood.

He claimed at the time to have been out of town when she was killed. Investigators sought to corroborate or disprove that claim in part by checking when Wilson used his computer.

Two other men, Jamie Russell Holder, 18, of 1418 Old Buck Horn Road in Garner, and Roderick Ryan Howell, 17, of 1337 Hodge Road in Knightdale, are charged with being accessories after the fact of murder.

he will bne out of jail in 2 or 3 years. Have a nice vacation, see you soon at your next crime bust in a few years.

He's probably hoping for the "killing in the heat of passion" which is consider voluntary manslaughter.

"It's so sad how things have changed over my lifetime. Human life seems to have so little value now.

When I was that age, making up with the wife after an arguement was fun."

I agree with you Beachboater. After an argument, you go for the jugular with a warm kiss...not a knife.

Perhaps Wilson learned a different version of first degree murder during his years at Yale Law??

The difference in 1st and 2nd degree murder is planning. It doesn't go straight from 1st degree murder to accident. Clearly this is murder, a brutal one at that. Hopefully that equates to a lengthy prison sentence.
