An autopsy shows one shot to the chest killed a Roxboro woman found dead at a Wilco store last month.

Stephanie Anderson was manager at the convenience store on Trawick Road. She was found in the early hours of April 10 by her boyfriend who had stopped in to check on her.

WilcoHess, which operates the convenience store, has offered a $25,000 reward in the case.

Raleigh police have not made any arrests.

Anyone with information about Anderson’s shooting is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME.

Thats why I say that the owners of each store should be held somewhat responsable for there should be more than one worker at night or at least a glass protection between employee and customer, when are they going to learn? How many more lives will be taken before someone finally gets wise?

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. This is one reason why I refuse to work in gas stations/convience stores.

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this woman. I also hope for a successful investigation and conclusion to the case so that the offender can meet their just punishment. I can understand robbing a store, but not killing the clerk.

Bet you its a youthful offender who graduated from juvenile court to adult crime like the Mary Hattie case.

Oh good GOD!
