Pinebluff men arrested in shooting death

Moore County police have arrested two suspects in the shooting death of a 43-year-old Aberdeen man.

Police on Monday found Donald Gray Sands Jr. dead from a gunshot wound at 250 Gillespie St. in Pinebluff.

On Friday, police arrested Justin Raynal Cotton, 18, of 1284 Currant St. and Martin Devon Mcmillan, 19, of 404 Addor Road, both of Pinebluff.

Each man was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, common law robbery and murder.

Cotton and Mcmillan were each being held under a $50,000 bond on the robbery charges and were being held with no bond on the murder charge. Each has a first court appearance on June 2.
