Fort Bragg, N.C. — Army officials are on the lookout for a black bear that was spotted outside the Long Street Gate last weekend.
Fort Bragg officials sent an e-mail alert to everyone on post after the bear was seen on security video Saturday.
The bear, which never made it onto the base hasn't been seen since.
A Fort Bragg spokeswoman said it's not uncommon to see bears in the woods around the base.
