6 arrested in Raleigh drive-by

Raleigh police arrested six people in a shooting on East Martin Street early Wednesday.

Police got a report of gunshots fired from a vehicle at 3 a.m. Wednesday. Officers later stopped the suspect vehicle on Hillsborough Street and took six people into custody.

The suspects arrested were Dimarcus Bell, Christopher Deon Mickens, Brandon Stukes, Christopher Emanuel Reese, Fredrick Nelson and Xavier Sapp. No ages or addresses were released for the suspects.

One person was injured in the shooting, according to police, and was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

And people can't seem to phantom as to why our prisons are full of AA's.

If these individuals were running and gunning on the streets of District C or anywhere they need to go into the DOC and start making very hard time for a very long time. That bullet could have hit anyone downtown or all around and that indifference to human life can not be tolerated.
