Durham, N.C. — Durham police investigators were looking on Wednesday for a man charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Fredy Lopez Hernandez, 24, is charged with statutory rape, taking indecent liberties with a minor, first-degree kidnapping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sexual battery. His last known address is 1104 Gearwood Ave.
The alleged incidents occurred during February at a residence on South Alston Avenue. Hernandez and the teen were acquaintances, police said.
Hernandez is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hernandez is asked to call Investigator J.J. Locklear at 560-4440, ext. 229 or Crime Stoppers at 683-1200.
