...and the Courage had the best attendance in the league.

CASL is all around the Triangle area, not just Cary. I played in it as a kid, back when Mini-City still had soccer fields every where. Don't be mad at Cary because we have better stuff. Apex, Holly Springs and the other towns had their chance to follow Cary back in the late 70's, but failed to do so.

Raleigh didn't lose it's female team....the entire league folded the same year they won the National Title. There is a new league forming, we may still get another female team. Good to see the press for this wonderful venue. Have seen many games there- including US Men vs Jamaica prior to World Cup. Small enough that you can see the action without a jumbo-tron TV. RFK is a great venue too, but will always be remembered as one of the best places to see the Grateful Dead in the summer- gosh I miss them.

And no one ever went to see the pro team that it was built for because it was a female team which Raleigh lost to another city because of lack of attendance.

Go figure.

God bless.

to bad it's not used more...

13x, I'm not a fan of Cary (lived there for years, graduated from Cary HS in mid-70s), but you're right, any excuse is seized upon by some folks.
