Sanford, N.C. — The death of a teenager is under investigation, police said Friday.
Dana Shorb, 17, was found dead late Thursday at 210 Bounty Lane, said Sgt. Harold Layton, of the Sanford Police Department.
Her body was sent for an autopsy to determine a cause of death, Layton said.
Police said Shorb lived at the home with her boyfriend and their child.
The case remains under investigation.
