Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County Police are investigating the near fatal stabbing of a Fayetteville man late Thursday afternoon.
Miguel Lamont Burden, 26, of 3117 Cope Street, was stabbed in the lower portion of his body after an argument with another person turned violent in his home, police said.
Detectives are trying to determine what caused the argument and who is responsible for the stabbing.
Burden was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was placed on a life-support system and remains in critical condition at this time.
