Durham, N.C. — Duke University attorneys said they planned to ask a federal judge on Tuesday to pull the plug on a Web site that supports a group of former lacrosse players suing the school.
Dukelawsuit.com supports the former players, claiming their reputations were tarnished by false allegations.
Duke's attorneys want the site shut down, arguing it and various statements from the plaintiffs could unfairly prejudice the case.
Attorneys do not expect a decision Tuesday.
