print friendly

The deadline has passed withoutsomeone claiming $800,000 from the Oct. 17, 2007, Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Jai Mataji Inc. at 121 Julian Place in Troutman in Iredell County. That ticket matched five white balls and the Power Play multiplier, meaning the $200,000 prize was increased to $800,000.

The money goes back in the pot – half to the North Carolina Education Lottery Fund, half toward future prizes.

This has to be a April Fool, and a May,June & July Fool I'm sick for them. Can someone give me some cheese for my wine, or the Dix for my Dorothea, because if this was my ticket (which it's not) I will be crazy.

hopefully the money will be use for the school system. I think alot of things are set up for the education system , but never uses the money for it.

I bet the Iredell residents are wondering why this article wasn't published a week ago.

Just think of how many Christmas presents that could've bought! And, for how many years, too! Wish I had that much to spend.

That means more for me and my co-workers.
