Henderson, N.C. — The daughter of Vance County Sheriff Peter White faces a reckless driving charge.
Witnesses claim 34-year-old Shahita White was on the wrong side of the road and driving erratically two weekends ago. Multiple calls made to 911 described her as "drunk."
The responding officers didn't give her a sobriety test, citing no probable cause.
Peter White said his daughter was treated like any other driver.
