print friendly

Deputies were searching for a Hollister man they believe stabbed his wife on Sunday.

Investigators believe that Robert Lee Faison, 51, stabbed his wife in the shoulder and then dropped her off at the Halifax County EMS building in Hollister. EMS personnel treated the victim and transported her to the Halifax Regional Medical Center.

A motive for the stabbing has not been established, but a domestic-violence protective order was active against Faison.

Faison was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, as well as violating a domestic-violence protective order.

Deputies described Faison as 6-foot-tall black man, weighing between 190 and 200 pounds. He was last seen driving a white 1999 Nissa Sentra with N.C. license plate number TTM-8815.

Anyone with information about Faison's whereabouts should call the Halifax County Sheriff's Office at 252-583-8051 or Halifax County Crime Stoppers at 252-583-4444.

another restraining order gone bad!

Oh, by the way Honey! After I stab you, please don't let me forget to run you by the EMS building. Love You!

Praying fore her to have a full recovery.Hurting someone is not the answer.

Well at least this guy became decent enough to drop her off at the hospital. Thank God for that.

Praying for the woman and her loved ones.

God bless.

Halifax County has been very busy in the news lately. We have the "Toot-Toot" stabbing saga, "Apples", who was missing but turned up safe, and now this. I'm sorry, but without a clever nickname, I can't get behind this. How about "Stabby"?

Hollister...a good place to raise a family. Not.
