Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville State is looking for a new administrator and instructors for its nursing program, which has come under fire from both state regulators and students in the past year.
Interim Chancellor Vic Hackley on Thursday told the university's Board of Trustees an associate dean of nursing and three faculty members were being sought.
State examiners have found problems at the nursing school three times in the past year. A surprise inspection last month found the program materials did not adequately and accurately describe the course offerings and that classes exceeded maximum student-teacher ratios.
Some students threatened to sue FSU last year after they failed an exam that they said wasn't supposed to be required.
The state Board of Nursing has placed the FSU program on "warning status," which means the program could be shut it down if the problems aren't fixed in the coming months.

PLEASE! Do some research Sidekick. There is nothing wrong with NCCU school of Law, and it continues to be on some type of ranking from the Princeton Review every year.
