Durham, N.C. — Police have made an arrest in a homicide that occurred early Friday morning at Bay Creek Apartments.
Officers were dispatched shortly after midnight to check on a male lying on the floor of an apartment at 1309 Hudson Ave. David Anthony Taborn, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
Toriko Mercer, 23, of Ruby Street, was arrested Friday night on Sedgefield Street near Guess Road. He was charged with murder.
