Vehicle Overturns in Raleigh, Driver Killed

Raleigh, N.C. — A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday.

Janette Louise Clark of Raleigh died after her vehicle overturned near Western Boulevard and Hillsborough Street just before 8 a.m., authorities said.

Clark lost control of her car, over-corrected and ran off the side of the road. Her car went down a grassy embankment, which had about a 10 foot drop, and flipped, police said.
