The search continued Tuesday for a missing Fayetteville cab driver.

William James Simon, 61, of 1598 Gillespie St. in Fayetteville, was reported missing by his roommate.

Simon's vehicle was found Friday evening near a radio tower off Rosser Street in Spring Lake.

Investigators said Simon was running fares from nightclubs along Bragg Boulevard when he was last seen around 4 a.m. Friday.

A photograph of Simon’s red, Ford Crown Victoria was released to the media Tuesday in hopes someone may have seen it.

The vehicle has the L&M Taxi Service logo on the driver and passenger side doors.

Simon is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has balding, grey hair and wears glasses at times.

Anyone with information about Simon is urged to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500.

Praying for the family and for this gentleman. He's just trying to make a living like the rest of us. It's a shame that some people can be so mean to another human being.

I am still hoping that they can find this man safe, but the way it looks, I am not so sure. Driving a cab these days is not the safest occupation to have. My prayers go out to his friends and family.
