A Roanoke Rapids woman was arrested Monday after two Halifax County sheriff's deputies were solicited as they drove around in their patrol car, authorities said.
The deputies were patrolling a known drug area when a woman walking in the neighborhood stopped their cruiser and solicited them for sex, authorities said.
Rebecca Anne Wall, 46, was charged with soliciting for prostitution. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 2.
