Fayetteville, N.C. — The city will lift its ban on outdoor water use on Friday, officials said Thursday.
The move by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission will allow customers to wash cars and pressure wash building exteriors.
Water customers are still restricted to watering their lawns with sprinklers two days a week. People with even-number addressed can use sprinklers on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while those with odd-number addresses can water on Thursdays and Sundays. Watering with a hand-held hose can be done any day.
