Cumberland Infant Found Dead

Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County authorities are investigating the death of a 10-month-old late Tuesday.

The child, whose name wasn't released, was found unresponsive by a family member in a bedroom at 313 Ministry Road, authorities said.

Paramedics were called to the house at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, and the baby was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The baby's body showed no signs of physical trauma, and investigators were awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death, authorities said.

I'm sure it would hurt them more than they already are hurting.

As I know you met well,but I doubt seriously reading something can be as painful as loosing a child.Experience tells me so.

This is terrible. "A baby is God's way of saying the world must go on."

I look forward to an update of what happen to the little one.

I wish people would wait until the entire story is posted before passing judgement at all. It could have been an accident or illness. I hope the relatives of the child don't see the comments of people accusing them of something before it's proven. I'm sure it would hurt them more than they already are hurting.

How sad. I hate to see the death of a child. They still have not found out about baby Micheal that they found dead and, its been so long, i can not remember, but i think the cumberland county sheriffs gave him a funeral. There was also that baby in cumberland county they found where the boxes go.
