Site SearchDurham, N.C. — Walter Chavis IV, 22, of Weldon Terrace, was arrested Wednesday a a result of a CrimeStoppers tip.
Durham Police wanted Chavis on weapons and drug charges.
During a traffic stop on Feb. 24, police found two handguns and marijuana in Chavis' car. The suspect fled on foot.
Chavis, who is on probation on an armed robbery charge, faces two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, resisting, delaying and obstructing officers and misdemeanor larceny.
