Spring Lake, N.C. — A Spring Lake man is charged with indecent liberties with a child for an incident March 15.
Kishorkumar Kaneria, 45, of 508 North Main St., forced his 13-year-old hostage to and forced her to "participate in inappropriate behavior with him," according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Kaneria is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $121,500 secured bond.
He is due in court on Wednesday to face charges of statutory sexual offense, second-degree forcible sex offense, first-degree kidnapping and taking indecent liberties with a child.
