Raleigh, N.C. — A water main break on southbound U.S. Highway 401 in Raleigh would be repaired by midnight, officials estimated.
The break is in a 12-inch main under the southbound turn lane from 401 South to Garner Station Boulevard.
The turn lane was being closed Monday until the break is repaired, but all US 401 southbound travel lanes stayed open to traffic.
About 450 customers were without water on Garner Station Boulevard and Junction Boulevard, including the Lennox Place Apartments.
