Burlington, N.C. — A Burlington woman was charged Sunday after allegedly chasing her children around a yard with her car, police said.
Marlene Castro, 35, of Wallace Street, was charged with driving while impaired and two counts of misdemeanor child abuse. Police said she chased her children, ages 9 and 14, in a yard on Roslyn Drive early Sunday while behind the wheel of a 1998 Dodge.
