Site SearchSouthern Pines, N.C. — A Moore County woman is facing charges in connection with the stabbing of another woman.
Cynthia Denise Ewing, 42, was arrested and charged Saturday with first-degree murder.
Officers said Ewing stabbed Dionne Michelle Jones, 34, at about 2 a.m. outside Mr. D's Take Away at 360 Ave.
Jones was transported to First Health Moore Regional Emergency Department, where she was pronounced dead.
Ewing was being held Saturday night without bond. Her first court appearance was scheduled for March 24.
