Carthage Man Busted for Drug Possession

A Carthage man was arrested Wednesday on drug charges after a search of his home produced an estimated $830 worth of cocaine and marijuana, officials said.

Brandon Da’Shawn Hargrove, 21, of 863 Priest Hill Road, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a place to keep a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hargrove was held in the Moore County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond.

Not a whole bunch of cocaine but then again, how much would it take to get a family member hooked on it. If he is capable of this amount he could be capable of much more.
