Fort Bragg, N.C. — A Fort Bragg soldier is under investigation after military equipment was sold over the Internet, authorities said.
The equipment was for students at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, which is responsible for special operations training.
The gear, including a sniper kit and body armor, was purchased at discount then sold for profit, authorities said.
The soldier's name hasn't been released.
No charges have been filed yet.
