Cameron, N.C. — Firefighters were called to a hog farm in Harnett County on Tuesday to battle a fire in a barn.
The blaze broke out about 3 p.m. at a farm on McKoy Town Road, west of Johnsonville, fire officials said.
Several departments answered the mutual-aid alarm.
Officials said there were animals in the barn at the time of the fire, and it was believed they got out unharmed.
