Hillsborough, N.C. — Town police and Orange County sheriff's deputies were on the lookout Monday for a woman who reportedly robbed two cell-phone stores in town within about an hour.
The suspect was described as a white woman in her 20s wearing a tan hoodie-style sweatshirt and brandishing a silver handgun. She was believed to have fled in a tan or light green car like a Fort Tempo, deputies said.
The woman robbed a Cricket Wireless store and a One Stop Cellular store, authorities said.
No one was injured in either heist.
