Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina Drought Management Advisory Council will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon today in the ground floor hearing room of the Archdale Building, 512 North Salisbury St.
The council monitors local drought conditions and advises the U.S. Drought Monitor weekly.
The council posts on its Web site, www.ncdrought.org, weekly advisories that may be in effect based on current drought conditions.
