Raleigh Man Jailed for Security Breach at RDU

RALEIGH – A man is in jail after a security breach at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Homayun Azargoon, 23, tried to access a Terminal A concourse level that was closed for the night, RDU spokeswoman Mindy Hamlin said.

Airport surveillance tape shows Azargoon breaking a glass door with a metal stand Wednesday morning. He then pushed against the glass, shattering it.

Azargoon was arrested by RDU police.

He faces several charges, including assault on a government officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Azargoon was being held Wednesday evening in the Wake County Jail.

From Channel 11's website: "Dressed in a bath robe, warm-up pants and flip-flops, Homayun Azargoon could be been on camera. He appeared frustrated by a set of locked doors. RDU Police say Azargoon threw up on them during the scuffle and then announced he had tuberculosis. He is being tested for the disease." Very strange....

If you saw the video it was actually pretty funny. He hit the glass with the metal sign, but that didn't break it. Then he pushed on it until it shattered. He had on a trench coat and a hat. Looked like something on funniest videos. Maybe he just wanted to go somewhere like the Bahamas.
