Durham, N.C. — Gizmo, a female Pekingese, was left in her crate Friday evening, when a break-in occured at 303 Beaver Dam Run in Durham.
The homeowners filed a police report and reported Gizmo missing to Animal Protection Society.
On Tuesday, Durham Animal Control received an anonymous tip that led to Gizmo's recovery. APS reports that the dog has been reunited with her foster family.
