Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville is one of 3,216 communities nationwide named a "Tree City USA."
The honor, bestowed by the Arbor Day Foundation, recognizes towns big and small that have a proven community forestry program.
Fayetteville marks its sixth year as a Tree City with the honor.
