Smithfield, N.C. — The Johnston County Board of Commissioners voted Monday to loosen restrictions on watering of plants and landscapes.
Hand watering, previously limited to weekends only, will now be allowed at all times. Soaker hoses and drip irrigation may also be used without limit.
