Site SearchRaleigh, N.C. — A computer glitch won't push back the Friday deadline for parents of students interested in attending one of Wake County's magnet programs to complete an online application for the 2008-2009 school year.
The problem with the online application was resolved by late morning, school officials said.
Parents must apply online for their students to attend either magnet schools or be placed on an alternate year-round or traditional calendar. Wake County schools has required the applications to be submitted online since 2007.
Nearly 13,000 applications were submitted last year.
