Raleigh, N.C. — Homewood Nursery & Garden Center on Honeycutt Road in North Raleigh is offering free gallon jugs of well water to its customers. Customers can claim up to five gallons per day.
Water-use restrictions across Wake County mean fewer people are purchasing plants, which reduces demand at Homewood for purchases, the nursery said. The well usually used to water all of those plants has a surplus which Homewood is sharing with its customers.
