Morganton, N.C. — The director of the North Carolina School for the Deaf announced her resignation Thursday.
Linda B. Lindsey, Ed. D., will take a position with the Office of Education Services in Raleigh.
Janet McDaniel, principal at NCSD, will step in as interim school director beginning April 1. A national search for a new director will begin immediately, the school said.
