Some students in Raleigh topped off Black History Month with quite a guest speaker.

Martin Luther King III, son of the slain civil rights leader, spoke to students at the Upper Room Christian Academy and Preschool on Thursday.

hondaman: you are right on the money with this one. They should do something themselves instead of hiding behind their famous relative. Then again people should realize this and stop asking them to speak.

This guys claim to fame is because of his father. Not anything signifant that he was done. Just as Randy Partin's clam to fame is with his sister. Thomas Jefferson was one on my ancestors but I havent been asked to speak at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner yet.
