Lillington, N.C. — Harnett County officials say more money is needed for students.
Commissioners want $120 million in federal aid for schools to offset expenses related to an influx of students from military families.
Harnett County currently gets $78 in federal aid, per student.
Because of growth from Fort Bragg, the school system wants the same as Cumberland County, $323 per student.
