Southern Pines, N.C. — The RBC Centura branch at 1715 U.S. Highway 1 South in Southern Pines was robbed Tuesday afternoon, police said.
A man entered the bank, demanded money and drove off in a gold GMC Yukon toward Aberdeen, police said. The SUV, which had been reported stolen, was later located by police.
The robber was described as between 5 feet, 9 inches and 6 feet tall and had a slim build. He was wearing a black toboggan, a long black coat, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.
