Nash County deputies responding to a disturbance call Friday night arrived to find a man armed with a shotgun.

According to deputies, they were responding to reports that Kenneth West Hill, 40, was in an altercation with his father at 5013 Farm Road in Elm City.

After deputies identified themselves and told the man to drop his weapon, he fired a shot at them, authorities said.. They returned fire. No one was injured in the shooting.

Hill was taken into custody and charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault on a law enforcement officer with a firearm, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

He was being held on $3 million secured bond Monday.

Oh yeah, How did we come up with $3 Million, Is he scheduled to win the Lottery??...... I guess they are scared that if he gets home he will reload and not miss....

From the looks of his mugshot, I would say that dad won the fight.

Is that a black eye I see?

that's some shootin'

Let me get this straight. More than one deputy, one guy with a shotgun, fires more than one shot each. Where did the bullets/pellets go?. Some one needs to go to the range and try to hit the side of that Red Barn. I wonder how many rounds the two deputys were firing from behind that tree, guess they had both eyes closed...... Glad no one else was down range.. Remind me to by pass Nash County.
