Durham, N.C. — A fatal single-car accident disrupted traffic on South Roxboro Street for about three hours Saturday morning, police said.
A man was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer north in the center of South Roxboro Street, near Jackie Robinson Drive, around 9:45 a.m. Officers said the Explorer swerved across one lane and struck an electric pole.
The man was pronounced dead at Duke University Hospital. His name was not released.
