Raleigh, N.C. — Wayne Ryan Howlett, 29, was arrested for armed robbery in connection with the Jan. 17 robbery of the Community Mart at 210 E. Bragg St. in Raleigh. He was also charged in a Jan. 9 robbery of the Sphinx Exxon store at 3600 Capital Blvd.
Police credited tips from the public as instrumental in the arrest.
