Pontotoc, Miss. — A Fort Bragg paratrooper died Sunday in a car accident near his home in Pontotoc, authorities said.
Cpl. Adam M. Campbell, 23, was an aircraft power train repairer, assigned to 1st Battalion, 82nd Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division.
Campbell joined the Army in September 2005. He had one combat deployment in Iraq from July 2006 to September 2007.
Campbell is survived by his father, Dale Campbell; his stepmother Jackie Hutcheson; and three sisters.
