Robbery (Money)

Cary police reported a bank robbery Tuesday morning at First Citizens Bank, 2205 Evans Rd.

Police are seeking two suspects in the heist.

One suspect is a black male wearing a ski mask, blue pants, a camouflage jacket, black shoes and gloves. He was carrying a shotgun. The second suspect is a black male wearing blue jeans, a heavy flannel shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt underneath the flannel shirt, gloves and a multi-colored mask.

The men got away with an undisclosed amount of money; no one was hurt in the incident.

Police believe the suspects fled the scene in a 2008 Nissan stolen in a carjacking on Saturday in Durham. The suspects appear to have abandoned the Nissan a few blocks away from the bank shortly after the robbery; the car is being reunited with its owner.

Sounds like a crime spree: car jacking and bank robbing.

If we had some type of Public Transportation linking Raleigh, Durham and Cary, then they would not need to carjack to get to Cary. This in effect will bring down Durhams crime rate. yay!

The suspects are probably irrigation workers displaced by the water restrictions.

Wow, what a helpful story. Full of details and information to help citizens. Great journalism.

It doesn't sound like anyone was sure, thank goodness. Maybe the robber(s) could see about getting a job in order to have money instead of stealing. I hope they are caught SOON.
