Man Suspected in 5 Peeping-Tom Incidents

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man spent Valentine's Day behind bars after being charged in five peeping-tom incidents.

Raleigh police arrested Erik Tyrone Walker, 27, of Chemistry Road, Thursday on four counts of peeping into a room occupied by a female. Walker also faces charges of first-degree burglary.

One peeping-tom incident occurred on Dec. 18, 2007. Police did not specify where the incidents happened.

Walker broke into a home on Cotton Mill Drive early Dec. 26, 2007, "with the intent to commit a larceny," the arrest warrant for Walker read. A woman was home at the time.

Walker was being held under a $500,000 bond.

These kind of problems do escalate. The creep started peeking and then he busted in while the female was in the house! Just a Peeping Tom in need of a quick fix, I think not. Tell him to buy a playboy if this is normal. Keep him off the streets and get him serious help.

Escalate was right. It is obvious that he wanted to do more than just peep. I'm sure he was watching girls go and come home every day. People need to be aware of their surroundings at all times and it would not hurt to keep a baseball bat beside the bed. I hope he doesn't get out of jail to do it to some unsuspecting young girl in the future.
