Durham, N.C. — A worker was killed Thursday morning in a construction accident, police said.
Michael Wayne Paul Jr. 36, of 1015 Climbing Rose Turn in Cary, was crushed between a truck and a construction trailer at Brinley's Grading Services Inc., at 819 Ellis Road, police said. The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Durham Police Department and the state Occupational Safety and Health Division were investigating the incident.
