Durham, N.C. — The second teen arrested in the murder of an elderly church deacon is expected in a Durham County court today.
Stefon Hinton, 16, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Charles Davis. The 89-year-old was found stabbed to death inside his house in September.
Investigators previously charged Tory Nelson, 18, with the murder. Authorities said they believe the teens broke into the house, killed Davis and stole his car.
A third arrest is pending, officials said.
